How to Find Your Bracelet Size?
Share
Finding the perfect bracelet size ensures comfort, a great fit, and a stylish look. Here’s how to measure your wrist accurately to find the right size for your bracelet.
How to Measure Your Bracelet Size:
-
Using a Measuring Tape:
- Wrap a soft measuring tape snugly around your wrist, just above the wrist bone.
- Record the measurement in millimeters or inches.
- Add 0.5–1 inch (1–2 cm) for a comfortable fit, or more if you prefer a looser bracelet.
-
Using String or Paper:
- If you don’t have a measuring tape, use a piece of string or a strip of paper.
- Wrap it around your wrist and mark where the ends meet.
- Lay the string or paper flat on a ruler and measure the length.
- Add the desired allowance (0.5–1 inch) for a looser fit.
Fit Preferences:
- Snug Fit: Add little to no allowance (0–0.25 inches).
- Comfort Fit: Add about 0.5–1 inch to your wrist measurement.
- Loose Fit: Add 1–1.5 inches for a more relaxed feel.
For Bangles or Fixed Bracelets:
If you’re purchasing a rigid bracelet or bangle, you’ll need to measure the widest part of your hand (not just your wrist).
- Make your hand as narrow as possible (as if slipping on a bangle) and measure around the knuckles with a tape or string.
- This ensures the bracelet will slide over your hand comfortably.
